How to Check That Your Chinese Breakers Are Real

Counterfeit low-voltage gear looks convincing. The housing matches, the printing matches, the weight is close. What does not match is the internal construction and the breaking capacity — and you only learn that during a fault.

We are glad when a buyer checks, because the check is how we win orders. Here is exactly what we do, and what you can verify yourself.

Before you pay — we send you

  1. Batch / lot numbers matched to the proforma invoice.
  2. Photos of the carton watermark and the product QR code, scanned and readable.
  3. The certificate PDF for the exact ordering code quoted — not a generic CE image. The certificate number is checkable with the issuing body.
  4. Warehouse-floor photographs of your specific cartons before loading.

On arrival — you verify

  1. Scan the QR on the unit with a phone; factory data should return.
  2. Check the carton watermark and the laser-etched batch on the breaker body against your paperwork.
  3. Compare the printed Icu and In with the datasheet we filed for that code.
  4. On a first order, destructive-test one unit: open it and look at the arc chute and contact material. A fake gets the marking right and the inside wrong. We will ship one spare unit for exactly this purpose.

Usually not from a factory that intends to defraud you. It comes from the grey chain: packaging bought separately, rejected housings refilled, or a “same model, different plant” substitution.
